Tiffany Lipsey is the Director of the Heart Disease Prevention Program in the Human Performance Clinical Research Laboratory at Colorado State University. As an assistant professor, she teaches courses encompassing health, wellness, aging, chronic disease, and clinical applications of exercise physiology. She is an American College of Sports Medicine - Clinical Exercise Physiologistâ. Her experience includes 25 years in exercise physiology focusing on cardiovascular disease risk assessment, prevention and treatment for CVD. She has been working with Colorado firefighters for over 20 years and has been involved in physiological testing and lifestyle counseling. She received funding from FEMA to measure carcinogen exposures in wildland firefighters and serves on the US Fire Administration Cardiovascular Disease Work Group and cardiac committee for the First Responder Center for Excellence.
