Steven Parker, EFO, FM, CFO, serves as Division Chief and Fire Marshal for the Arvada Fire Protection District, with more than 16 years of experience in the fire service. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection and Safety and a master’s degree in Fire and Emergency Management Administration from Oklahoma State University and is a graduate of the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program.

Steven has played an active role in advancing fire safety standards and professional education both locally and nationally. He has served on multiple validation committees for the International Fire Service Training Association (IFSTA) and is a principal member of the NFPA 1750 Technical Committee. Within Colorado’s fire prevention community, he has served as both vice president and president of the Fire Marshals Association of Colorado and currently chairs its legislative committee.
