Sandi Friedrichsen has served as the Fire Marshal for Windsor Severance Fire Rescue for over 15 years and has more than 30 years of experience in the fire service. During her career, she has held leadership roles in fire prevention, investigations, public education, and emergency management while working to align community risk with organizational resources.
Sandi holds a Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Engineering Technology and a Master of Science in Fire and Emergency Management from Oklahoma State University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Fire Service Training and Management from Colorado State University. She is currently completing her Doctorate in Forensic Science at Oklahoma State University.
An active instructor and presenter, Sandi has taught numerous courses for the Front Range Fire Consortium, the Fire Marshals Association of Colorado, and the Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control. She currently serves as President of the Colorado Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators.
