Chief Solze has been a member of the Hugo Fire Protection District for 15 years with the last with the past past 6 years as fire chief. I'm one of the co-creators of the Fire on the Plains training conference. Ive worked closely with the DFPC training officers to help re-distribute used equipment and apparatus to rural agencies across the state.I come from a fully volunteer organization. I helped our organization transition from the old volunteer service that was funded by fundraisers and donations to our current fire protection district that is tax funded.
